WHY DO IT?
We have undertaken this initiative to demonstrate to Government and interested parties how to involve landowners in realistic and sustainable leasing of virgin custom land. AND then offer each opportunity to “virgin” investors looking to participate in a worry-free waterfront landholding in this magnificent Pacific country. We do all the work for both sides to achieve a satisfactory outcome for each.
We will not allow our clients to be “burnt” by unscrupulous “fly-by-night” operators and “conned” into paying too much for a lease. This activity has been fuelled by a vast array of “agents” supporting speculators by marketing properties at “freehold” prices!! The result? – first-time buyers unable to sell leasehold land and homes at a profit. By then the developers have made their killing and moved on to other jurisdictions. We aim to correct this and hopefully correct the market and its reputation.
In the past boom (2004/2006), we were appalled at the exploitation of landowners by so-called “developers” and the equally abhorrent “pay-back” attempted by landowners trying to “sell” land that was not theirs to Lease! Thankfully those days are over, but there are “many traps for young players” working in a system with so many forces at work. Without going into detail, you need us to introduce you to this land tenure system if you are going to invest successfully.
We do this out of respect to the landowners who participate with us in this initiative. We also aim to divest ourselves of the financial interest in the land and revert to a professional services consultancy to represent your ongoing interests in Vanuatu, during and after acquisition. We have no interest in speculating or dealing with speculators. We want genuine people who will understand and cultivate their special relationship with the lessor, respect the cultural traditions of this unique country and develop their own slice of paradise within the parameters we have set up within each lease or future lease. - We are the Lessee on leases or the Purchaser in land contracts
- We are the shareholder in land owning entities
- We are partners with THE landowner/s in many opportunities
